• The action finds Link stuck in a parallel universe in the land of Termina, transformed into a Deku Scrub, and given only 72 hours to find the mischievous Skull Kid, collect the all-powerful Majora's Mask, and save the world.
• The three-day cycle gives players roughly one hour of real time to accomplish their goals, but a Groundhog Day-like mechanic lets them witness those three days over and over by playing the fabled "Song of Time.
• Aside from the time-traveling mechanic, the action in Majora's Mask 3D should be familiar to Zelda fans, with Link aiding villagers, exploring dungeons, battling boss characters, and acquiring powerful items to help him reach new areas.
